What we value and how we act
Five rules settle most arguments here. They decide what we build, what we refuse, and when work is allowed to finish. Every one of them is something a customer can check on a Tuesday, not a poster in a hallway.
The person directs. Nokkam executes.
Work starts with a person saying what they want, in their own words. Nokkam stays inside that brief and stops at its edge. It never widens the ask, never picks its own next task, never spends past the budget it was given.
Plain words are the front door.
You describe the work the way you would to a new hire in their first week. No prompt menus, no template library, no wording to get right. If a person has to phrase things our way before anything can start, we built it wrong.
Nothing ships undecided.
Every draft arrives with the numbers it used and the sources it read, in the order you would check them yourself. You approve it, edit it, or send it back. There are two endings: finished with evidence, or stopped with a question.
Responsibility is built in, not promised.
Rate cards, tolerances and spend caps are built into the product, not written in an instruction someone could talk around. Nokkam goes live on a project only after it has been replayed against work the team already finished. Your documents stay in your own space.

We build each field with a few firms on their real enquiries, then publish what we measure, including the parts that do not work. An idea that cannot be tested next month is not a plan yet.

Research
We measure how AI fails on real engineering work and will publish what we find: where it should stop and ask, how to score it before it is trusted, and how much of it can run on hardware a firm already owns. Every note we publish will carry a number and the method behind it.
Product
We turn that research into Nokkam: work done on a team's own drawings, models and files, using that team's own rate cards, templates and past decisions. We build it with a few partner firms per field, from the enquiries that actually land in their inbox.
Engineering
We build the engine underneath, so every piece of work Nokkam does runs under the same contract: a budget, a spending limit, and rules it cannot cross. We will talk about it when it is measured, not before.
Design
We draw the moment of approval, the evidence beside it, and the question that reaches you on a phone when the work stops. One rule: the person must stay unmistakably the boss.
We build each field with a few firms who do the work every day. You bring finished jobs with their outcomes, an hour with the person who does that job, and real enquiries as they arrive. You get Nokkam set up on your rate cards and templates, founding partner terms until the rate is proven, and a say in when it should stop and ask.
